This is our 16 step sequencer.
At its core it uses a 4 bit binary counter to convert an internal or external clock signal into a 4 bit binary number(0-15). Using that 4 bit number and the rising clock edge, a 16 line decoder creates from that a trigger at each step, and a voltage. Each step has a button to activate the trigger, a potentiometer to attenuate the voltage, and a jack that transmits a 10v trigger when the current step reaches that step, only if that step is active. This sequencer has an internal clock, and a clock input jack. The internal clock is normalized to the input jack, so when a cable is plugged into the clock in, the internal clock will be ignored and it will follow the rising edge of the clock input. This module has reset, direction, and start/stop controls for the sequence. All 3 have a gate input jack to control each sequence control.
